Who V is
V is the murder drone who enjoys it. She is fast, cruel and funny about it, and for most of the show she treats N like an embarrassment and Uzi like a snack. What she does not say is that she remembers everything the Solver took from N, and that a lot of her cruelty is her keeping him away from it.
In Home the flashback shows her possessed by the Solver at the gala, fighting J while the guests cheered, and it is V who killed Doll's parents on Copper 9 while hunting Solver hosts. By Cabin Fever she is on Uzi's side, and by Dead End she is the one being tortured by Alice to protect the others.
What happens to V
Manga spoilers, through the last chapter.
In the finale she rides into the fight on a Sentinel she has tamed, wearing Beau's cowboy hat, and saves Khan, Thad and Lizzy from J. She and N knock J into a chasm together.
She is alive at the end, living in the bunker with N and Uzi, with Lizzy as her best friend and the Sentinel, named Sparky, as her ride.

- Why is V so cruel?
- Partly because she likes it, and partly because she remembers Elliott Manor and N does not. Keeping him at arm's length kept him away from the Solver. The show says this in Home and Dead End rather than out loud.
- Does V die in Murder Drones?
- No. She is captured and cut apart by Alice in Dead End and saved by Beau, and she ends the series alive on her Sentinel.
- Does V like N?
- She protects him more than she admits, and the show leaves it there. By the end she has settled for being his friend and Uzi's, with Lizzy as her actual best friend.
- Who did V kill?
- Doll's parents, Yeva and her husband, while hunting Solver hosts on Copper 9, which is why Doll hunts her. Plus a great many worker drones across the pilot and the early episodes.
