Jujutsu society is run by three big sorcerer clans: the Gojo clan, the Zenin clan and the Kamo clan. Each one guards a technique that passes down through blood. Around the big three sit smaller families, like the Inumaki family with their cursed speech, and much older names from the golden age of jujutsu, like the Fujiwara. A clan's rank comes from how strong its inherited technique is, so a clan can rise or fall in one generation.
The Zenin clan is one of the big three. It is the harshest of them. In the Zenin house, you are only worth something if you inherit a strong technique. Maki Zenin was treated as a servant because she was born without cursed energy. Toji Fushiguro left the clan for the same reason and became one of the most feared fighters in the story. That is the Zenin lesson: the clan measures blood, not people, and it costs them everything.
The Kamo clan is the oldest and most proper of the big three. Its inherited power is blood manipulation, passed to the head of each generation. The clan cares about tradition, manners and keeping its name clean. It also carries the story's darkest stain: the worst sorcerer in history, Kenjaku, once wore the name Noritoshi Kamo. A good Kamo style OC plays with that gap between the clean face and the dark history.
The Fujiwara are an old-era clan from the golden age of jujutsu, about a thousand years before the main story. They were a great power in the time of Sukuna, when sorcerers were at their strongest. They matter mostly in the past of the story and in flashbacks to that era. If you want an OC with old blood, a Fujiwara descendant is a fun pick: an ancient name, a lost technique, and a family that used to matter.
