A curse, or cursed spirit, is born from the cursed energy that leaks out of people when they feel fear, hate or grief. It builds up in one place until it takes a shape. Normal people cannot see curses. Sorcerers can, and their job is to get rid of them.

A JJK curse OC starts with a fear. In Jujutsu Kaisen, curses are born from the fear and hate that leak out of ordinary people and pile up in one place: a school, a hospital, a story everybody is scared of. The more people share the fear, the stronger the curse.
