Who Choso is
Choso is the oldest of the nine Death Painting Wombs: children of a woman who could bear cursed spirits' children, and of Noritoshi Kamo, the cruelest sorcerer in history. Kamo was Kenjaku wearing an earlier body. For 150 years the nine were kept as cursed objects. Kenjaku gave Choso and two of his brothers, Eso and Kechizu, bodies to live in.
He fights with Blood Manipulation, and as a half-curse he can make as much blood as he needs. Piercing Blood fires it at the speed of sound. Supernova bursts a floating pool of it. Flowing Red Scale pumps his own body up for close combat. Blood Meteorite hides a solid shot inside a spray. His blood is poison, too.
He can feel it when a sibling dies. Yuji and Nobara killed Eso and Kechizu, and Choso went to Shibuya to kill Yuji.
What happens to Choso
Manga spoilers, through the last chapter.
He nearly does. Then, in the middle of the fight, a memory he never lived hits him: a family dinner, with Yuji at the table. Yuji is also Kenjaku's child, born from Kaori Itadori's body, which makes him Choso's half-brother. Choso switches sides on the spot, turns on Kenjaku, and calls Yuji his little brother for the rest of the story.
In the Culling Game he stands with Yuki Tsukumo against Kenjaku and loses her. In the Shinjuku showdown he dies shielding Yuji from Sukuna's Fire Arrow, in chapter 259.

- Blood Manipulation, the Kamo clan technique. Piercing Blood is a pressurized jet at the speed of sound, Supernova blows up a pool of blood, Flowing Red Scale boosts his body, and Blood Meteorite hides a hard shot in a spray. As a half-curse he never runs out of blood.
- Why does Choso call Yuji his brother?
- Because it is true. Kenjaku, who fathered the Death Paintings as Noritoshi Kamo, later gave birth to Yuji in Kaori Itadori's body. Mid-fight in Shibuya a memory Choso never lived shows him Yuji at a family dinner, and he stops.
- Does Choso die?
- Yes. In the Shinjuku showdown he takes Sukuna's Fire Arrow for Yuji and dies, in chapter 259.
