Who Kirara is
Kirara Hoshi is Kinji Hakari's partner. When Hakari was suspended from Tokyo Jujutsu High for beating up a conservative official, Kirara left with him and helped him run the Gachinko Fight Club, an underground ring where sorcerers box bare-handed for money.
Their technique is Love Rendezvous. Kirara marks people and objects with five stars laid out like the Southern Cross. Anything marked has to move between the stars in a set order. Break the order and you cannot get any closer, however hard you try. Things marked with the same star pull toward each other instead.
The manga never settles Kirara's gender, and much of the fandom uses they/them, as this page does. What the manga does settle is loyalty. Kirara nicknames everyone, calls Hakari Kin-chan, and will stand between him and anyone from the school.
What happens to Kirara
Manga spoilers, through the last chapter.
When Megumi and Panda sneak into the fight club to recruit Hakari, Kirara keeps Megumi off him with Love Rendezvous. Megumi works out the Southern Cross pattern from the look on Kirara's face, and Kirara still nearly wins by moving the marks around. They join the Culling Game effort once Hakari does, and they are alive at the end of the manga.

make my Jujutsu Kaisen characterQuestions people ask about Kirara
- What is Kirara's cursed technique?
- Love Rendezvous. Five stars in the shape of the Southern Cross, placed on people and objects. Anyone marked has to move between the stars in order, so Kirara can stop someone from reaching a target at all. Marks of the same star pull each other in.
- Is Kirara a boy or a girl?
- The manga never says outright, and Kirara is drawn to keep it open: the characters around Kirara read them as a man, the look is feminine, and the story never makes a point of it. Much of the fandom uses they/them, and so does this page.
- Are Kirara and Hakari dating?
- The manga never says so. Kirara is devoted to Hakari and hates it when he brings up his ex. Fans read it as a couple; the story leaves it open.
- Who does Kirara fight?
- Megumi Fushiguro, with Panda, in the fight club's theater, when the school comes to recruit Hakari. It is the only real fight Kirara gets, and it is a puzzle, not a brawl.
- Is Kirara in the anime?
- Yes. Kirara first appears in the Culling Game arc, which season 3 adapts.
